The site e-mails you if you’ve been outbid, so we’re seeing little bidding wars taking place, with bids coming in just minutes apart. It’s been exciting to watch the numbers climb.”

Proceeds of this year’s Silent Auction benefit The Gift of New York, which provides free access to cultural events throughout the New York area for the bereaved families of 9/11.
