Explosion Rocks Jakarta Marriott
An apparent suicide attack in Indonesia has left at least 13 dead and more than 100 wounded.

A BOMB EXPLODED OUTSIDE THE JW MARRIOTT HOTEL IN DOWNTOWN JAKARTA TUESDAY, REPORTEDLY KILLING AT LEAST 13 PEOPLE AND WOUNDING MORE THAN 100 IN WHAT INITIALLY APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN A SUICIDE CAR BOMB ATTACK. At least one foreigner was reportedly among the dead. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the bombing. According to a notice posted this morning on the Marriott Web site, the hotel has been evacuated and a number of people have been transported to area hospitals. Marriott is assembling a list of employees and registered guests staying in the hotel. The company is also establishing an employee center.
