by LISA MATTE CONGRATULATIONS TO WES PETERSEN, OUR SECOND QUARTER QUESTION OF THE WEEK WINNER. To his original prize of 1,500 miles in either American Airlines’ AAdvantage or United Airlines’ Mileage Plus frequent flyer programs, he now adds two round-trip economy class tickets to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Malaysia Airlines.
Wes responded to this question, “The most recent installment of television’s Survivor series concluded Sunday night. Those of you who’ve seen the show know that Survivor contestants are allowed one ‘luxury’ item from home. As world travelers, you probably have some favorite travel possessions. If you were in the Survivors’ shoes, what item would you bring and why?” with the following answer: “I would bring my dog because he would be the only one on the island I could trust. He is loyal and faithful to a fault. He could help me sniff out and track down food, and if I fell down a well, he would actually go for help.”
